I devoted the better part of the last five years, examining the dynamics that take place in a law firm. Thousands of pages read, hundreds of conversations lead, participating in internship programs in law firms around the world (including US), hours of thinking and rethinking. Getting deep into the functioning details of a law firm, I got new ideas about how marketing efforts can give new horizons to business.
Law firms are nothing else, but a form of organizing lawyers’ professional practice, a form of offering legal services to the public. As companies, law firms are subject to the same market forces as the regular business companies, but they have their specificities, they offer professional services. Thus marketing a legal practice seems to be not quite the same as marketing a law firm. And that should be accordingly taken into consideration. And when it comes to a particular lawyer’s need of getting more clients, things are kind of difficult and unexplored. And things are kind of ‘unorganized and unclassified’ either. Lawyers tend to utilize their own techniques of getting more clients – it is the individuality of their approach that determines their marketing efforts’ originality. And even if they do something they heard about, they do it in their own way – the way they find it better. Each lawyer has his/her own ‘little marketing secrets’. Also working on LegalWeb Content Management System - Online Law CMS, appropriate for on-project law firm cooperation and multi-office law firms! Just finished working on "nai-dobrite-ceni.bg Business Project"! (in Bulgarian) Business Plan/Project "Pre-Paid Legal Plans in Bulgaria" coming in October 2007. Looking for business partners!
